I’m Maria, a 25-year-old chess player, bookworm, and animal lover based in London 🇬🇧
By day, I work in tech. By night — or really, any chance I get — I’m pushing pawns. I’ve been playing chess since I was 7, competed at World & European Youth Championships, and hold the WCM (Woman Candidate Master) title with a rating of ~2000.
I stream chess on Twitch and occasionally post videos & reels on YouTube & Instagram — come hang out!
When I’m not playing chess or reading, I’m probably chasing around my cat Lou 🐱, who makes the occasional cameo on stream.
